First-ever Kalingandhra Utsavam began in Srikakulam on Friday night in a colourful manner in the presence of many writers, poets, musicians and others. The three-day festival was aimed at depicting rare culture of Kalingandhra region. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dhananjaya Reddy said that the next generations should be proud of their history and it would be known to them with such festivals. The police made elaborate arrangements to prevent traffic jam in roads leading to Arts College. Srikakulam DSP Vivekananda monitored the traffic and urged people to cooperate with the department in ensuring hassle-free traffic flow on busy road.
