The film, which has already been at various international platforms, will also been screened at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival. “Rani has been selected by the London Film Academy to be part of a special showcase of films, at the Short Film Corner of the Festival de Cannes! The Short Film Corner runs from May 20 till May 25, at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival,” GrayScale Productions posted in a statement. Written and directed by Hammad Rizvi, the film has already bagged awards from international festivals like the Special Jury Award for Impact at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival 2019 and the Best Narrative Short Award at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival in March.
