Azimio co-principal Martha Karua has dismissed remarks by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka that the coalition now recognises President William Ruto as a legitimate Head of State. While reacting to a media report quoting Kalonzo as having said the coalition now recognises Ruto, the Narc Kenya leader denied the sentiments. While attending the burial ceremony of Wiper-nominated MCA Constance Mkamburi Mwandawiro in Voi, Taita Taveta county on Saturday, Kalonzo said they now recognise Ruto as the legitimate president. On that part I must congratulate the President because he has put his foot down anasema mazungumzo iendelee,"Kalonzo said. He spoke words that shocked the people of Machakos, some were just staring at him in disbelief," Kalonzo said.
