Urvashi Dholakia became a household name with her stint as Komolika on the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay from 2001 to 2008. Her role as the main antagonist made her a favourite among many and she was also bestowed with several accolades. She stated, "While Komolika's onscreen moments were filled with lots of planning and revenge, my offscreen moments while shooting those scenes were quite funny! The scene required Anurag to slap Komolika after getting to know that she had faked her pregnancy. Urvashi further shared, "It was like a 'now see you see me now you don't' moment for everyone on set.
