Shane McLoughlin, like seven-year-old Katie, is an amputee. On Saturday morning, the Monaghan paralympian crossed the five-metre line at Rossaveel harbour while pulling the largest passenger-only ferry vessel registered in Irish waters, with Katie’s support. Shane McLaughlin has won world records for pulling five lorries and now one vessel.
