A former city pastor convicted of killing his alleged mistress eight years ago has lost his appeal. Pastor Paul Ng'ang'a of Well of Faith Ministries in Gatina Kawangware was found guilty of the 2012 murder of Carolyne Chanjirah. Court of Appeal judges Mohammed Warsame, Kathurima M’inoti and Sankale Ole Kantai ruled that the appeal had no merit. The court ruled that the High Court was right to convict Ng'ang'a for the murder based on the evidence presented. The Appeal Court ruled that the conduct of the pastor and the nature of the injuries inflicted on Chanjirah indicated that he intended to kill or inflict grievous injuries on her.
