The 59-year-old Sky News presenter will have to answer questions from her employer as to why she "inadvertently broke the rules" while celebrating her upcoming 60th birthday. Kay issued an apology via Twitter on Monday evening after a call of nature saw her head into a restaurant after visiting a "Covid compliant" eatery. “We were disappointed to learn that a small number of Sky News staff may have engaged in activity that breached the guidelines. I am embarrassed to say that later in the evening I inadvertently broke the rules.
