KUALA LUMPUR: A kayak instructor has been sentenced to six years' jail by the High Court here for allowing his bank account to be used to fund terrorist activities. High Court Judicial Commissioner Ab Karim Ab Rahman meted out the sentence against Mohamad Jazrin Mohamad Azaha after he admitted to the charge Tuesday. JC Ab Karim ordered the sentence to run from May 18 last year, the day Mohamad Jazrin was nabbed. In January 2016, Mohamad Jazrin received a WhatsApp message from Wanndy asking him for his bank account number. Wanndy told Mohamad Jazrin that he would use the accused's bank account to deposit funds.
