Minister of State for Health, Dr. Olorunnimbe Adeleke Mamora, on Monday, commissioned 11 health facilities projects built by the management of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Birnin-Kebbi, with a charge to FMC across the country to operates closely with their host communities. Dr. Mamora said that the projects are classical manifestation of the Federal Ministry of Healthcare efforts to the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic and provide affordable heath care to Nigerians. He explained that the Hospital is one of the leading refferal Centres providing accessible, affordable and qualitative emergency care, in patient care, outpatient care and other specialized services. “Our specialized procedures includes, Endoscope procedures, Laparoscope surgeries, Endourologic procedures, total knee and hip replacement surgeries as well as spine decompression and stabilization procedures.” he added.
