Keir Starmer's monopoly homes and sparkle may impress but Anas Sarwar needs his own glitter to cut through the SNP-inflicted doom and gloom
A conference full of concise bullet points and rallying calls, much opposite to the slapdash and haphazard Tory summit the week before. The Scottish Labour leader hasn’t really had to do much in the past year, just letting the SNP and Tories fall over themselves in a race to the bottom. Labour are talking a good game, "get Britain building again, build more houses like a world champion Monopoly player". The challenge for Sarwar and co is one of what can they do to cut through the malaise. With Yousaf a spectacularly easy patsy for Sarwar to tackle, he must also become Mr Motivator and stimulate a lacklustre Scottish support.
