Keith Olbermann calls for MLB to 'confiscate' Cardinals franchise as he accuses them of Trump celebration

The St. Louis Cardinals caught the attention of social media over the weekend when they seemingly performed a home run celebration in homage to former President Trump. However, Cardinals veteran Matt Carpenter denied after the game it was a tribute to Trump, telling the St. Louis Post-Dispatch it was "definitely not a political statement." Still, Keith Olbermann insisted that Major League Baseball "ban" the players who performed the celebration, "confiscate" the franchise and "implode" Busch Stadium. Carpenter also explained that the celebration was actually a call back to Burleson’s college days when he was a rapper nicknamed Biscuit.
