Kelowna's Taylor Ruck wins bronze at World Swimming Championships in Australia

Kelowna's Taylor Ruck took home a bronze medal at the World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia on Tuesday. The 22-year-old grabbed a podium spot as a part of the 4x100 metre freestyle relay team with Rebecca Smith (Red Deer, Alta), Maggie Mac Neil (London, Ont) and Katerine Savard (Pont-Rouge, Que). Ruck is no stranger to success in the pool, as she won three medals this summer at the World Aquatic Championships; a silver in the 4x100 m freestyle relay, bronze in the 4x200 m freestyle relay and silver in the 4x100 m mixed freestyle relay. She has two Olympic bronze medals, in the 4x100 m and 4x200 m freestyle relay at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. For more information on the short-course World Championships, click here.
