Updated Sat, July 23rd 2016 at 17:37 GMT +3Residents of Budalang'i rejected a donation of unknown amount from Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong during a funds drive in aid of St Benedicts Secondary School. However, they accepted donation from Deputy Governor Kizito Wangalwa. But the moment she mentioned she had been sent by Ojaamong, the crowd turned hostile, booed and told her to keep the contribution. Drama started when the governor's representative, a parliamentary aspirant in Budalang'i Constantine Obuya rose to address the gathering and to deliver the contribution. Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba intervened and calmed down the crowd.
