NAIROBI, Kenya—At least 11 people, including a 9-year-old girl, were killed late Friday and Saturday in violent street battles between Kenyan police and supporters of the opposition that lost Tuesday’s presidential election, community leaders, families and rights groups said. Clashes between supporters of opposition leader Raila Odinga and police escalated after incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta was officially declared the winner Friday evening, but remained isolated to a few Nairobi slums and parts of western Kenya.
