He further contended that Kenya, being an unproven third-world country, is unsuitable for the task of restoring order in Haiti, emphasising the necessity for a nation with expertise in building police and security capacity. "If the US, England, France, Germany, Britain, and the EU do not take a lead in such a mission, it will be unfair. It is a great money-making opportunity for the countries but to be successful, any intervention needs to be led by a country that is good at creating police and security capacity, not an unproven third-world country," he said in a live interview.
