In her judgment, High Court judge Grace Nzioka stated that the deceased was brutally killed in an aforethought and well-planned action. The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Dentists Union (KMPDU) Secretary General Davji Atellah declared that the planned industrial action is still on. The shrewd trade unionist affirmed that their industrial action would commence immediately after the lapse of their notice. The doctors insisted on the industrial action despite the ruling by the Employment and Labour Relations Court that stopped it.
