A lot of people can't believe that bicycles are still being used as boda bodas in certain towns in Kenya. But in towns like Thika, many people use bicycles to get around. When you walk around the town, you will notice bicycles and motorcycles parked together at the boda boda stages, waiting for customers. James Mbugua, who takes people around on bicycles, told The Nairobian that this way of getting around is even more well-liked than motorcycles. Simon Mbugua, who also works as a bicycle taxi driver, mentioned that bicycles can go to certain places where motorcycles are not able to go.
