At the forefront of this educational renaissance is Kenyatta University, where Acting Registrar (Academic) Prof Bernard Kivunge shared some encouraging statistics. "We have recorded 7,500 first-year students out of the 7,968 placed by KUCCPS," he reported. Additionally, 2,500 students applied directly to the university, with 750 students transferring from other institutions, contributing to the institution's overall growth. JKUAT's Vice Chancellor, Prof Victoria Ngumi, expressed optimism about surpassing the 6,917 students placed by KUCCPS. Meanwhile, Technical University of Kenya's Prof Paul Shiundu noted that a substantial portion of the 4,000 students placed by KUCCPS have already reported to the institution.
