The Kenyan representative for the continental talent search show Airtel TRACE Music Star stands a chance to record a duet with an American pop star. Over the weekend, Tonya Ahenda battled other Kenyan finalist and was selected to fly Kenya's flag in Lagos at the grand finale. The winner will also receive a signed contract with a major music label and worldwide media exposure through various TRACE’s platforms. She won a cash prize of Sh 1.5 million while Elivis Kosiso the first runner up took home a cash prize of Sh 100,000 with Ciano Maimba bagging Sh 50,000 as second runner up. By day, Tonya is an accountant by night a verocious songstress.
