Burna Boy was invited to perform during the NRGwave festival in Mombasa on Sunday, December 29. His manager was seen engaging with the NRGwave organisers who were pleading with him to perform. A majority of those who attended the event felt there was no value for their money saying that the Nigerian star had under performed. Although there were other artistes invited, seems like the international ones failed Kenyans considering that Tanzanian singer Harmonize failed to show up completely. It is rumoured that the station failed to honour their memorandum of understanding with the singer and he could not perform before he was paid in full.
