Five-time All-Ireland winner Aidan O’Mahony has been appointed as the new manager of his Rathmore. He succeeds David McCarthy who stepped away with his management team after the club lost the East Kerry O’Donoghue Cup narrowly to rivals Dr Crokes last month. A two-time All-Star, O'Mahony only hung up his club boots following Rathmore’s 2023 All-Ireland intermediate final victory over Galbally Pearses having played for 25 years with his club.
