KOTA KINABALU: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic) has urged young Sabahans to vote for Barisan Nasional instead of spoiling their votes. Khairy, who is also Barisan Nasional Youth chairman, urged proponents of the movement to consider casting their votes for Barisan instead, especially those disillusioned with the Opposition. "I hope voters, especially the younger ones, will not spoil their votes because this involves the future of the country. The Umno Youth chief chaired a meeting with Sabah's Barisan Youth leaders to discuss preparations for the general election. Expressing confidence in the team's level of preparedness, Khairy said he hoped that Barisan would field more young candidates to contest in the polls in Sabah.
