KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 21): Khazanah Nasional Bhd said Budget 2017 balances growth, fiscal stability and improving living standards for the Bottom 40 (B40) group of Malaysian households. Khazanah managing director Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar said the fund is committed to deliver on the initiatives announced in the Budget. “The Budget 2017 is able to balance growth, fiscal stability and improving living standards for the B40 of Malaysian households. “As the strategic investment fund of the government of Malaysia, Khazanah is committed to deliver on the government’s Budget 2017 initiatives, through our ongoing initiatives on, among others, Skim Latihan 1Malaysia (SL1M), affordable housing, leisure and tourism, and creative industry sectors,” he said in a statement. The latest Budget was unveiled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak earlier today, themed “Ensuring Unity and Economic Growth, Inclusive Prudent Spending, Wellbeing of the Rakyat”.
