Ol Kalou MP David Njuguna Kiaraho passed away on Sunday while undergoing treatment at The Nairobi Hospital. The late Kiaraho was among just two MPs from Nyandarua County who braved the strong UDA wave in Mt Kenya in 2022. The late Kiaraho was re-elected as Ol Kalou after garnering 24, 058 votes against his closest rival, Samuel Kamau (UDA), who obtained 19, 380 votes. The UDA wave was strong here, yet they chose to retain me, an indication that they have confidence in my leadership,” Kiaraho said after being declared. Kiaraho then joined the University of Nairobi (UoN) in 1985 and graduated with Bachelor of Architecture in 1992.
