A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Ugbo Iyiriaro, has been reportedly kidnapped along Benin-Abraka Road. The incident, Tribune Online gathered, occurred, on Tuesday, between Ugo and Ugboko community, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State. It was further gathered that the kidnappers had already made contact with the family of the victim, demanding N20 million ransom. Also, Nigeria is not part of the Arab League and there is no evidence that that league will make a statement about a non-member.
