Fears over the severity of Kieran Tierney's injury could be well founded with the defender reportedly ruled out for between 10 and 12 weeks with a muscle tear. That had already ruled the defender out of the Scotland squad, due to be announced on Wednesday ahead of the Euro 2024 showdown with Spain in Seville. But the news could be even worse for Tierney, with The Athletic reporting that he could be out of action until Christmas. Of the five matches he's been in the starting XI for, they've only lost one - a 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid back in August. But will have to do without Tierney until after the winter break if his predicted return timeline plays out.
