Police officers in Derbyshire have issued an urgent appeal for information about the three men and are warning members of the public to stay away from them. Killer Lewis Daniel Thornton left HMP Sudbury alongside Daniel Gerald Ferris and Rory Allen on Saturday, Derbyshire Live reports. The first of the absconders is Lewis Daniel Thornton, 29, who was convicted of manslaughter at Wolverhampton Crown Court in 2016. Thornton has links to the Wolverhampton and Walsall areas and the public should not approach him.
