King deal is out of my hands – Howe

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe accepts there is little he can do but wait and see if striker Joshua King is lured back to Manchester United ahead of the transfer deadline. During his time with United, King worked alongside Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the reserves before eventually joining Blackburn in 2013. Howe addressed the issue as he prepared for Saturday’s home match against fellow relegation-battlers Aston Villa. “I’m not going to deny anything you’ve read (about Bournemouth rejecting a bid for King), but I don’t want to talk too much about it,” Howe said at a press conference broadcast on Sky Sports News. Howe is expecting a response against 16th-placed Villa, who are two points above them in the table.
