Kingdee International software (0268) plans to place 133 million new shares at a discount of 7.6 percent. The price per new share is HK$17.82. The number of placing shares represents around 4 percent of the existing issued share capital of the company and about 3.85 percent of the enlarged issued share capital, immediately following completion of the placing. The group estimates the placing will raise HK$2.25 billion for research and development.
