On a star-studded Oilers roster, it was unheralded forward Kailer Yamamoto, a former Jr. Kings player, who launched the Oilers to a second-round matchup against Vegas. It’s just small things that didn’t quite connect throughout the game,” Kings captain Anze Kopitar said afterward.
