The Kisii County government has resolved to partner with the Kibos International Health Foundation to promote healthcare services. Kisii Governor Simba Arati said he will ensure all the residents in the county benefit from high-quality and affordable health care during his term in office. Speaking when he hosted doctors from Japan, Singapore, Canada and India under the Kibos International Health Foundation, Arati said he was keen to improving healthcare services in the area. "We need an infrastructural development state of art cardiovascular facility, training and capacity building for doctors to improve their services, need for awareness campaigns on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases," Arati said. He urged the Kibos Foundation to consider providing such services in Kisii County.
