A homemade drama series, with a budget of just $92,900, has been named a finalist for the 2021 International Emmy Awards. The series, INSiDE, was made in Auckland during alert level 2 restrictions and filmed in the director and star’s home last year. Its nomination makes it the only series in Australasia to be named as a finalist for the International Emmys. Actor Morgana O'Reilly​ and her director husband Peter Salmon​ arrived back in Auckland just before the March lockdown last year.
