A group of neighbours who spoke out about being "tortured" by full-volume Celine Dion for five years are in good company. North Auckland mum Kate Drennan said she remained haunted by pop rockers No Doubt after a six month stint of waking up to them every morning, courtesy of neighbours two decades ago. Vanessa, a hairdresser from Te Puke, said she had banned Meatloaf from being played in her salon for similar reasons. "Meatloaf would start up first thing in the morning and he would have it on repeat," Vanessa said. On the porch, he would play the ukulele while singing "all night until she let him in in the morning", she wrote.
