A non-governmental organisation, Bright Initiative for Sustainable Development, also known as Kogi Mandate Group (KMG) has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja as they take their oath of office and oath of allegiance, marking the beginning of the governor’s second term in office. The DG said: “We heartily wish to felicitate His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja for their electoral victory and for beginning officially their second term in the leadership of our great state. On this note, we want the government to see us as partners in progress,” Mr Gbemi added. Bright Initiative for Sustainable Development also known as Kogi Mandate Group is a non-governmental organisation whose membership cut across the 239 wards of Kogi State. It is an initiative to advocate for good governance and community/humanitarian service.
