Kwara state government has donated cash to selected 80 beneficiaries among People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in the state. Speaking with journalists in Ilorin on Thursday during the presentation of cheques to the people, the project manager and executive secretary of the Kwara State HIV/AIDS Control Agency (KWASACA), Dr Alabi Seleem Babajide, said that the beneficiaries were selected from the 16 local government areas of the state. “Today is one of the interventions we normally do as an agency which is to take care of people who are living with HIV/AIDS. While appreciating the government on behalf of his colleagues, the Coordinator, Network of People Living With HIV/AIDS in Kwara state, Mr Fadesere Ademola, said that “We’re appreciative of efforts of the state government at making life comfortable for us.
