The Frenchman had been training away from Luis Enrique’s first team squad due to a fall-out with the club’s board over his future. Mbappe refused to sign a one-year extension with the club earlier this summer, which would have extended his contract until 2025. That only further raised suspicions at the club that Mbappe has already agreed to move to the Bernabeu. But the club say Mbappe has now rejoined the main group after ‘positive’ talks.
