On December 16, 2017, the National Student Alliance (NSA) Ghana hosted this year’s National Student’s Awardsat the Great Hall, University of Ghana – Legon; under the theme, “Education, the cure for the Modern day Slavery of Human trafficking”. The event was well attended by lecturers, government officials, foreign nationals and students from all over the ten regions of Ghana. Out of the seven nominated associations/unions, the Liberian Students Association Ghana (LISA₋GH) emerged as the “Best National Student Association” in the country for 2017 due the meaningful impacts the Association continues to make on the student populace for the past 25 years in championing academic excellence for national development. The Award was given to him because of his positive contributions to the students’ community in Ghana and his sensitivity to socio-political situations in Liberia. This year’s NSA awards constituted twenty four (24) categories.
