LISGIS to Organize 16 Days Training for Field Mapping Assistants and Cartographers for the Upcoming Population and HousingMONROVIA – The Government of Liberia through the Liberian Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services (LISGIS) on February 22 will commence a 16-day training for Field Mapping Assistants and Cartographers. The release from LISGIS states that the training workshop is part of the process leading to the conduct of the population and housing census. According to the release, field staff will be deployed on March 10, 2021, in all the 15 counties of Liberia. As part of the processes leading to the conduct of the Census, a training workshop has been organized for Field Mapping Assistants and Cartographers. The Field Mapping Assistants and Cartographers will delineate the country into enumeration areas for the subsequent enumeration of the population.
