For more than 12 days and counting, a loving husband has been sending bouquets of flowers to his wife to give her strength while she fights the new coronavirus disease at the hospital. Kay Pelican could not stay by his wife Chenella’s side due to hospital visitor restrictions, as per People yesterday, Aug. 19. Pelican began sending flowers to his wife on Aug. 5, in the hopes that it would show his love for her even from afar, and he has not stopped since. The hospital also showed the colorful rose arrangements in various sizes that the 43-year-old man sends, via its Facebook page on Tuesday, Aug. 18. “Romance can get a little complicated when a spouse is hospitalized for #COVID19,” the hospital said.
