MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has issued 116 public utility vehicle (PUV) terminals with show cause orders, citing numerous violations in their facilities. At least 40 of the PUV terminals inspected were in Metro Manila. The LTFRB also found several PUV terminals with insufficient security measures and accommodations for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The agency said that it will continue monitoring and inspecting PUV terminals across the country.
