Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, on Sunday alleged that his opponent in the 2019 governorship race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress is not fit to rule the state. Ambode, who is fighting to return to Alausa come May 2019, addressed a press conference at Government House, Alausa, Ikeja, where he revealed that his challenger was once arrested for spending fake dollars at a nightclub in the US. Throughout his speech, Ambode made no mention of any name even as there were speculations about whom he was talking about. “I have done everything in the last three and half years to serve people selflessly and to serve the poor. This particular aspirant is someone who has been arrested for spending fake dollars in a nightclub in America, and he was detained for months.
