ETLake Huron Medical Center has been recognized as a top hospital in the United States by Forbes, receiving a four-star rating for excellence in patient outcomes, quality and patient experience. The ranking, part of Forbes' inaugural Top Hospitals 2026 list, evaluated approximately 2,500 hospitals across the country, according to a community announcement. Lake Huron Medical Center is one of 12 hospitals within Prime Healthcare to be recognized on the list. "This recognition reflects the dedication, skill and compassion of our entire Lake Huron Medical Center team," Chris Fulks, interim chief executive officer at LHMC, said in the announcement.
