Trade activities have been started between Pakistan and Iran via land route. According to Express News, trade activities have been started under the Pak-Iran Transit Corridor and the first export consignment has also been sent from Pakistan through this corridor. He said that consignments of goods will be transported from Pakistan to Central Asian states via Gwadar and Iran through the transit corridor. In this regard, the Directorate Transit Trade Customs has made the TIR procedure effective and activated Taftan, Ramdan, Sost, Gwadar and other important border crossing points for TIR transit. At a ceremony held in this regard, Director General Transit Trade Customs Sanaullah Abro and Director Transit Muhammad Rashid dispatched the first consignments.
