The Easter Bank Holiday is shaping up to be a windy one with gusts of 41mph potentially hitting North Staffordshire. Meanwhile a yellow warning for wind is currently in place for North Wales, much of the north along with Northern Ireland and Scotland. In its latest forecast for North Staffordshire the Met Office is predicting a run of dry days with light rain expected first thing on Friday and no more until Tuesday. Later in April, the probability of more changeable and unsettled weather increases, which is likely to be more widespread than the middle of the month.
