Latheefa chairs her first MACC meeting - Nation

PETALING JAYA: Newly-appointed Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Latheefa Koya has chaired her first meeting with the Commission on Monday (June 10). "MACC Chief Commissioner Latheefa Koya today chaired her first meeting with state and division directors since her appointment on June 1," the MACC tweeted on Monday (Jun 10). It also tweeted a series of four photographs, one of her chairing the meeting, a group picture taken with senior MACC personnel, another with former MACC chief Datuk Seri Shukri Abdull at the meeting and another of a one-on-one meeting of Latheefa and her predecessor. She replaced Datuk Seri Shukri Abdull, who quit before his tenure was to have ended in 2020. "With the support of the rakyat and my officers in the MACC, we can transform Malaysia into a corruption averse and corruption-free society," Latheefa said in a statement on Friday (Jun 7) following her appointment.
