In an effort to cement harmonious relationship in Bomi electoral district number one and the concession areas where Sime Darby Plantation Liberia (SDPL) operates, Representative Edwin Melvin Snowe has invited the company to form part of the District Development Council (DDC). The Bomi county lawmaker has meanwhile concluded with his staffers to constitute the council that will solely focus on the Developmental activities of the District. The process has already begun with the civil society organizations taking the lead in consultation with the District Coordinator. In another development, Representative Snowe has reaffirmed his support to building the human resource capacity by offering 35 scholarships to the Bomi County Community College with immediate effect. The then Montserrado County district number six Representative has mandated his office through Edwin Miller and Adama Seh, Chief of Office Staffs and Administrative Assistant respectively to derive criteria for said scholarships.
