CHANDIGARH: A key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was arrested on January 7 after being deported from the United States. Aman alias Aman Kumar alias Aman Bhainswal was wanted by the Haryana police on charges of murder, rioting and criminal conspiracy. At the request of the Haryana Police, the CBI obtained an Interpol Red Notice against Bhainswal. Bhainswal has been involved in cases of firing, murder, attempt to murder, extortion and illegal arms activities across Haryana and the Delhi-NCR region. However, sustained tracking, technical surveillance and coordinated international efforts by the Special Task Force (STF) led to his arrest.
