Lee Shau Kee, Hong Kong’s second richest man, may step down as chairman and managing director of his business flagship Henderson Land Development after the company’s annual meeting on May 28. Lee would remain a board director, Henderson Land said. Lee Shau Kee has a fortune worth $30.6 billion on the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List today. I’ve been fortunate to meet and interview Lee Shau Kee more than a few times. Lee Shau Kee grew up in a poor family that could afford to eat fish or meat only twice a month.
