The report claims that Leeds United, who finished ninth in the Premier League last term, have now made an approach to sign Gallagher on loan. The deal for Bate, who did not make a first-team appearance for Chelsea, is worth around £1.2 million plus add-ons. Leeds have also signed left-back Junior Firpo from Barcelona in a deal worth an initial €15m (£12.8m).
