Legends of Kiwi hip hop head to townSUPPLIED Che Fu and King Kapisi performing together as Hedlok. The Palmerston North hip hop scene is about to get hipper with King Kapisi and Che Fu descending on the city this weekend. Palmerston North musician/DJ and producer Matt Davies (also known as Dirty Hairy) has been working with the pair on their new tracks and has organised the gig as part of his Uplift monthly hip hop sessions. "The focus for Uplift is local hip hop, but if there is a chance to bring someone from out of town, then we do that. Davies said having such legends from hip hop in Palmerston North would be really exciting.
